The site aim is to utilise the vast amount of unwanted and little used

beauty products and makeup.

The site is to help people of all ages,

open to anyone who uses cosmetics and beauty products.

 

To help people who have all bought beauty products and items

 and in a way recycle and reuse unwanted makeup and cosmetics.

 

While it is initially to help us save money in effect it is also a good way

 of helping to be 'greener' by recycling.

 

Currently money-saving is an issue

 and any way of helping to achieve this is of benefit to our bank accounts

 

 

 

The Makeup Exchange

 

The Make-up exchange was started from an idea after we had been wasting money on many occasions, buying products and items which then remained unused.

 

We had all been using makeup for many years and working in the retail sector, meeting people who had all, at some time or another, bought cosmetics and beauty products which remained unused.

 

You know the way, you go shopping see a eyeshadow, perfect shade just what you wanted - get it home - use it once - Oops! not quite right - and put it in a drawer or makeup bag.

 

It stays there until you decide to clear out the stuff which is all unused / unwanted and then all of it ends up in the bin.

 

How costly is that? - That's why we thought wouldn't it be a good idea to recycle some of the costly purchases, and although you don't get the full cost back, at least you get some.

 

Plus into the bargain you could try someone else's items and perhaps find products you wouldn't have thought of trying!
